Description

Start Center

The home page which displays a dashboard with portlets defined in the Layout and Configuration application. A user can have multiple tabs depending on the roles they perform, each tab is a Start Center in its own right.

Layout and Configuration

Used for creating a new Start Center and adding portlets to the left or right column. Also used for modifying an exist Start Center.

KPI List Setup

Used to define or edit the KPI List portlet used on a Start Center. Select the KPIs to display.

KPI Graph Setup

Used to define or edit the KPI Graph portlet used on a Start Center. Select the KPIs to display.

Favorite Application Setup

Used to define or edit the Favorite Applications portlet used on a Start Center. Select the applications and provide a display order in the portlet

Inbox / Assignments Setup

Used to define or edit the Workflow Inbox/Assignments portlet used on a Start Center. Select the columns to display and their order.

Result Set Setup

Used to define or edit the Result Set portlet used on a Start Center. Select the application and query, attributes to display, chart and color options.

Quick Insert Setup

Used to define or edit the Quick Insert portlet used on a Start Center. Select the application insert actions and provide a display order in the portlet. For ticket based applications the ticket template to apply can be selected.

Report List Setup

Used to define or edit the Report List portlet used on a Start Center. Select the reports and provide a display order in the portlet.

Change Password

Screen allowing a user to change their Maximo password.

Forgotten Password

The screen used from an action on the login page which provides the ability to request for your password to be changed.

User Self Registration

The screen used from an action on the login page which allows a potential new user to enter their details and provide a password. There is an associated workflow process which will route this new user request through to the Maximo administrators.

Application

Description

Business Analysis

A Work Center focused on data analysis of key data in Maximo but also data quality. For example, work backlog, or work orders waiting for materials, or assets with no classifications or failure codes. The Data Set Library can be viewed and there is a link to publish your data to Watson Analytics to interrogate your data further.

Map

A Work Center which allows you to view and manage resources via a map.

Work Supervision

A Work Center used to plan and assign work and react to changing priorities as they occur during the day. Includes bulk actions, like change status, assign owner. Supervisor can create follow-up work or relate work, add a job plan to a work order and update the work plan.

Work Execution

A Work Center used to review daily work assignments and report actuals. A technician can create follow-up work, capture failure details, report downtime and enter meter readings.

Description

Conduct an Inspection

A Work Center tool used to conduct and complete an inspection. Inspection results are associated with an asset, location, work order or a task.Each form, group of questions or individual questions can contain guidance instructions. Hands free inspections are possible by using voice responses.

Design Data Sets

This Work Center Tool allows a user to create a data set of fields and records which can be output in CSV form so that the Maximo data can be used in analytics tools.

Manage Inspection Forms

A Work Center Tool application used to define an inspection form containing groups of questions. There can be several response types, date, time, date/time, meter readings, attachments, numeric, single choice list or free text. Forms are revision controlled and can be linked to a PM or Job Plan, making the work order the vehicle for conducting an inspection.

Maximo Management Interface

This Work Center Tool helps customers and Maximo Customer Support to evaluate the deployment of a Maximo system in order to help diagnose the cause of system related problems. Provides an API framework that can be used to remotely collect more metrics.

Service Request

This Work Center Tool can be used by all users to add a new service request, and optionally identify the location or asset and upload a photo to provide more information. The requester can also view updates to the service request.
