A location that temporarily holds inventory that is “in transit”.

There are two location types used as Transit Storerooms, LABOR and COURIER. Items are transferred from a storeroom to one of these locations and the items will then appear in Item Availability. After the courier/labor has reached their destination, the items are transferred to the To Storeroom so that the balances are net zero in the Courier or Labor Storeroom. When used as Transit Storerooms most item balances should be zero, items are not issued or returned to/from a transit storeroom.
