Manage Inspection Forms

Inspection Form Library

• Dashboard shows each Inspection Form with latest revision, title and inspection form reference
• Each card has buttons to duplicate, preview, learn more
• Search field
• Create Form button

Create Form

• Enter a form name and form type, the reference uses the auto key
• Initial status is Draft, and revision is 1
• Enter form instructions, a long description with rich text formatting
• When saved then shows Revision History for inspection form

Revision History

• Revision history table window with action buttons
  • Delete
  • Conditional Settings
  • Edit
  • Form Settings
  • Preview
• Buttons to Create revision, and return to Form Library 
• Only Form Settings and Preview actions are shown at Active state. Create Revision button will now be active.
• Previous revision is moved to Revised state when new revision is made Active
• An inspection form can be made inactive from active state

Edit Form

• Form Questions displayed with action buttons:
  • Information button has long description with rich text formatting
  • Delete
  • Duplicate
  • Edit
• Each question can have one or more responses:
  • Asset Data – Meter Reading, enter meter name
  • Date Entry
    • Date and time
    • Date only
    • Time only
  • Media – File Upload, select document folder for attachment
  • Numeric Entry – allows a single numeric value response
  • Selectable Responses – allows multiple response values to be entered for which one will be chosen. Can associate an icon, color and indicate whether action is needed if responder chooses this response.
  • Text Entry – allows a single text response
• A response can be duplicated or deleted. Each response can have a description. A response can be made required. A response can be hidden.
• Add Question button
• One or more questions can be selected and grouped using the Create Groups button.
• Reorder questions by dragging them to required position
• Groups of questions displayed with action buttons: 
  • Delete – will delete the group and its questions
  • Duplicate – will duplicate group and its questions
  • Information button has long description with rich text formatting

Form Settings

• Automation script actions can be selected. Currently there is one to create a work order for items requiring action. 
• Button for audio enabled form. Note WATSONTTS (Text to Speech) end point needs to be configured.
• Button to require reading confirmation

Conditional Settings

• When a question has multiple responses, you can make one conditional based on the response of another. For example, if your first question gave a Pass or Fail response, then add a condition that when Fail you are required to also enter a Comment.
• Conditions can only be added to single choice responses and on characteristic meter readings.
• Conditions are only added between responses of the same question.

Preview

• Provides a visualisation of the inspection form when used by the Conduct an Inspection tool.
